We had created a plan of when we would play and when we would not. Thursdays after school we had official gaming club to go to, Where we played a campaign made by our current Dungeon Master. But he had to plan for every weeks game, whether we actually were going to continue with the adventure, or we were just leveling up our characters. But when we played the Usual campaign at lunch, it did not seem like we got much done in the 45 to 30 minutes that we had for lunch to play. This reason is mostly because playing D&D means you need to ask a lot of questions and listen to where you are led by your choices by the DM. This meant actual playing time was down to 15 minutes and the rest was questions and story telling, Which meant we got little to nothing done at lunch for the Main Campaign. We needed to figure out a different campaign to do at lunch that didn't require such critical thinking to get one small feat done. Because it was just becoming a waste of time for some of us playing at lunch although it was still pretty fun to do. One day during the week we all showed up and Our DM, JT, Told us he had an idea for a new campaign we could do at lunch. He called It D&Z, or Dungeons and Zombies. When we asked what it was gonna be about, He told us it would be a lot of fun. And It totally is. First thing we needed to do, like in every D&D thing we have done so far, Was to choose your class. He told us about the classes and asked us what we wanted to be. Every different class has different bonuses and negative aspects to their abilities or character statistics. These statistics given to all characters are Strength, Constitiution(How long it takes until you die after being knocked out), Intelligence, Knowledge, Dexterity, Wisdom And Charisma. Every Character Class, No matter what you choose to be, will start with ten for every single statistic. Secondary Statistics include Reflex, Fortitude and Will. Another thing all characters have is skills, which tells you your bonuses and total points in each skill that you have. The skills each character has in this version is Acrobatics, Agility, Appraisal of items, Climb, Craft explosive, Craft Weapons, Craft Medic Supplies, Creation, Diplomacy, Disable Device, Disable explosive device, Disguise, Drive Vehicle, Escape Arrest, Handle Animal, Heal, Intimidate Knowledge(Architect) Knowledge(Engineering) Knowledge(Geography) Knowledge(History) Knowledge(Local) Knowledge(Nature) Knowledge(Nobility) Knowledge(Planes) Knowledge(Undead) Linguistics, Perception Perform Perform Proficiency proficiency Ride, Sense motive, Sleight of hand, stealth, Survival, Swim, and Curing infected People from turning.
Sniper class characters have a total Health point count of 20 at level one. Which is pretty high. The Sniper class has the most stamina of any of this game's classes. The only Downside of this class is that they have a fairly low armor class. It is only a total point count of 12. Ultimately this is a pretty good class to play if you like to shoot things from a distance and don't Like To Get up Close and personal with the zombies.
So The Demolition Class For Statistics means You get a plus 3 to your Intelligence, Knowledge and Wisdom. To anything Related to explosives You get a plus 3 when doing. This meant whenever I use anything including any kind of explosive component I get a plus three to Craft Explosive, Disable Explosive Devices, and Using Explosive weapons. Right Now My character Has a plus six to using the Grenade Launcher which comes automatically with the Demolition Class. The grenade launcher that is, not the plus six. The Demolition class gives you a bonus 3 points to put into any skill you want. For this class You get an even Health and Stamina Score of 20 points. Your armour class is 14 points against any normal bullet. But the good thing about this class is you get a 20 armour class when attacked by explosive weapons.
This is a great class to play if you like to let loose on everything that you can hit with the many bullets that fire out of that minigun.
"The gunslingers of this game usually tend to be Smart Wise asses Who Don't really get told what to do by others." Is what was told to me by JT when we started this campaign. And that is true to him cause he's is exactly what he described the gunslinger to be.
They Have a Descent Stamina point count of 20 points total Which is extremely Good considering that they don't have any specific role in the group to play other than bait to catch and kill Zombies. Their total Health Point count is a solid 18 and is pretty good for the class.
They don't have any Primary weapon to start with though they do have good stamina and AC. They have a total Armour Point count of 17 points. The Stamina for this class starts at 15 points while their HP starts at a solid 20 points. This is a Good Class to play for anyone who is a Auto geek, Aka Liam in our group. To Close this Blog up I am going to tell you that if you are going to be running the campaign and are playing the part of DM or, just to recap, The Dungeon Master, try not to throw things at your players that are to hard for them to handle. And to the Players a word of advice, Try not to all talk to the Dm at once, if needed establish this rule. No One talks while the DM is talking. If you have a question or suggestion raise your hand and don't speak until you are acknowledged by the Dm to talk. Me and My group found that The game went incredibly better due to this fact, Which, by the way, I came up with cause no one would shut up while we were playing. I want you to tell me if you liked the blog so fill out the survey below and tell me what you think and if you will do the Zombie campaign with your friends.
